Ryan Gosling stars as Ken in ‘Barbie’ Film
The first look at Ryan Gosling as Ken in the ‘Barbie’ film, Greta Gerwig’s much-anticipated new project has been revealed and it is everything fans expected.
The image sees the Canadian actor sporting blonde hair, spray tan, and six-pack abs while wearing a denim vest with cut-off sleeves that features his name written on it in letters much larger than anything else present throughout this piece. He stands next to an almost identical pink pillar matching one found behind him at the beach house which can be assumed to be Barbie’s home away from town for vacations or other private occasions.
The first look at Margot Robbie as the titular character was shared in late April, and she can be seen in an outfit that summarizes her natural beauty. Her smile isn’t too big for this captivating shot of hers.
The cast of ‘Barbie’ is so impressive that it’s hard to narrow down the list. The movie will feature stars like Gosling and Robbie, but also America Ferrera and Simu Liu in supporting roles.
Watch this epic adventure come alive when it’s released on 21 July 2023.

Ryan Thomas Gosling (born November 12, 1980) is a Canadian actor and musician. He began his career as a child star on the Disney Channel’s ‘Mickey Mouse Club’ (1993–1995) and went on to appear in other family entertainment programs including ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ (1995) and ‘Goosebumps’ (1996).
His first starring film role was as a Jewish neo-Nazi in ‘The Believer’ (2001), and he went on to star in several independent films, including ‘Murder by Numbers’ (2002), The Slaughter Rule (2002), and ‘The United States of Leland’ (2003). Gosling came to the attention of a wider audience with his role as a drug-addicted teacher in ‘Half Nelson’ (2006), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor and his performance as a socially inept loner in ‘Lars and the Real Girl’ (2007). After a three-year acting hiatus, Gosling starred in the marital drama ‘Blue Valentine’ (2010), earning him a second Golden Globe Award nomination. Gosling co-starred in three mainstream films in 2011–the romantic comedy ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love,’ the political drama ‘The Ides of March,’ and the action thriller ‘Drive’–and received two more Golden Globe Award nominations for his performances in each.
His directorial debut, ‘Lost River,’ was released to poor reviews in 2014. Greater success came in 2016 when he starred in two hit films, the musical ‘La La Land’ and the crime thriller ‘The Nice Guys.’ Gosling’s band, ‘Dead Man’s Bones,’ released their self-titled debut album and toured North America in 2009.
He is a co-owner of Tagine, a Moroccan restaurant in Beverly Hills, California. Gosling is a supporter of PETA, Invisible Children, and the Enough Project and has traveled to Chad, Ethiopia, and Uganda to raise awareness about conflicts in those regions.
