The Simpsons Predicted Donald Trump Presidency 16 Years Ago

Date:

The correctly predicted a Donald Trump presidency in 2000.

When asked about the episode, Dean Greaney told :”It was a warning to America.”

Earlier this year Simpsons creator Matt Groening told The Guardian they used Trump because he was “the most absurd placeholder joke name that we could think of.”

I truth is stranger than fiction.
