Former ‘Survivor’ producer was found guilty of killing his wife in Mexico.
Before going to trial for the murder of his wife, Bruce Beresford-Redmund was a producer on many hit shows including “Pimp My Ride”, “The Restaurant” and “Survivor”. But, Beresford-Redmond will have to do all of his filmmaking from a Mexican jail cell.
From Variety:
In 2010, Monica Beresford-Redman, 42, was found dead and naked in a sewer on the property of the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun. She was on vacation at the time with her husband, who authorities believed killed her in their room and later stashed her body 75 feet away.
The former TV producer was extradited to Mexico in 2012 when a judge ordered him to remain in the country.
“I am accused of the murder of my wife Monica, a crime I did not commit,” he said in a video diary at the time.
Bruce Beresford-Redmond was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
