Paula Deen joins the cast of Dancing with The Stars.
Paula Deen’s food empire nearly hit rock bottom after a controversy involving her reported use of the N-word ended her show on the Food Network and several endorsement deals.
All of that seems to be behind her now, at least enough for Paula Deen to come back to television for the next season of Dancing With The Stars. The cooking icon will join Triple Crown jockey, Victor Espinoza and Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. But Paula Deen seems to be one of the biggest D-list celebrities to join the show according to Variety, as she has been asked to join the show in the past and has declined.
Is now the best time for her to emerge and take back some of the TV limelight? Or will the growing cultural movement of Black Lives Matter hurt Dancing With the Stars. Maybe she can use some of her recipes to charm audiences back into our hearts and minds.
