CBS cancels episodes of Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles following the Paris Attacks.
According to Variety, CBS has switched up this week’s episode of Supergirl and NCIS: LA in the wake of Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris because of the storylines that are similar to what happened in Paris.
Apparently, in Supergirl, the fifth episode centers around Supergirl character saving the city from several bombings. But, instead the episode will center around Supergirl’s relationship with her foster mother.
This news comes after ratings for Supergirl have dropped in the last four episodes. Episode 3, Fight or Flight brought in 8.1 million viewers, which is not that bad. But, the show’s premiere had 13 million people watching the first episode and then 19 million when DVR numbers were added. But, after the first episode ratings dropped by more than 50 percent.
