Nicki Minaj’s Childhood Dream Was to Become a Nurse and Help People [Video]

Nicki Minaj gave up on becoming a nurse in order to become a rap star.

Before Nicki Minaj joined forces with Young Money and made millions of dollars as a female rapper. Nicki Minaj had a different dream. Minaj wanted to become a nurse and help people in need.

According to Wikipedia, Nicki Minaj was born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York, she gained popularity after releasing the mixtapes Playtime is Over, Sucka Free, and Beam Me Up Scotty. Minaj later signed a recording contract with Young Money Entertainment in 2009.

It is pretty clear now that the whole nursing career did not pan out, but Nicki Minaj did help many people less than her self including Drake.
