A truck loaded with guns and grenades drove into a Bastille Day crowd at the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France killing at least 70 people.
As the events in Nice, France continue to be released, here is what we know so far:
#1 A truck drove into a crowd

A truck drove into a crowd watching Bastille Day fireworks at the Promenade des Anglais, a popular area near the Mediterranean Sea
#2 Nearly 100 people killed
Though the total number of fatalities have not been released, French media have reported up to 74 dead and 100 injured
#3 The driver was killed
The driver of the truck is dead, according to France’s interior minister, but it remains unclear if he was working alone.
#4 Witnesses share their story
The truck was loaded with guns and grenades and witnesses claim that the driver exchanged gunfire with law enforcement. Though these reports are not official, an image of the trick was tweeted showing several bullet holes. Residents of Nice, France have opened up their doors to victims and have been using the #PortesOuvertesNice on social media to raise awareness of the terrorist attack.
