ABC was a hit this Sunday in terms of ratings with the highest ratings in “Once Upon a Time” and “Revenge” finales.
But, NBC took the biggest hit last Sunday. The first part of the miniseries, “Rosemary’s Baby” had horrible ratings and viewers.
ABC was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in viewers with an average of 5.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at 7 p.m. had a 1.5/6 and 5.8 million viewers. At 8, “Once Upon a Time” earned a 2.2/7 — the highest rating of the night — and 6.5 million viewers. “Revenge” at 10 got a 1.5/4 and 4.9 million viewers. [CBS]
Rosemary’s baby is a modern 4 hour mini-series look at the classic novel by Ira Levin focusing on Rosemary Woodhouse’s belief that her neighbors may belong to a Satanic cult who are trying to get the baby she’s carrying.
Since the show is a mini-series, doubt that their will be a sequel or spinoff of the series. NBC is struggling to make the show take off. However, NBC did pick up several new television series to make up for the lackluster ratings.
