‘Wonder Woman’ dominated the box office. The super-hero movie managed to win back a huge audience for DC Comics, following critical missteps with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. While we still have to wait and see what will happen with the Justice League, Wonder Woman still reigns supreme this summer.
On top of amazing reviews, Wonder Woman has managed to earn millions in the box office. Even as the movie winds down its theatrical run, Wonder Woman has managed to break another record. The movie has beat Iron Man 3 by landing in the top 5 highest grossing movies of all time.
1. Marvel’s The Avengers: $623.3 million
2. The Dark Knight: $534.8 million
3. Avengers: Age of Ultron: $459 million
4. The Dark Knight Rises: $448.1 million
5. Wonder Woman: $409+ million
Wonder Woman has everything that the latest DC Universe movie was missing. We will have to wait and see how the upcoming standalone Joker movie will do with perhaps Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese at the helm.
