Did you know Viola Davis nearly pepper sprayed Jared Leto on set of ‘Suicide Squad‘?
There are several different types of acting techniques. One of the most popular and most controversial acting techniques is the method acting technique. Many famous use method acting to get into character. In fact, Jared Leto is making news around the film industry for his method acting. But, he may have gone too far.
According to reports, Viola Davis was not to pleased to receive a gift from Jared Leto. She told E!Online that she nearly pepper sprayed Leto.
“It was a little worrisome,” Davis said. “It made you a little bit nervous and I’m pretty tough. You know I got into a few fights when I was growing up…but it scared me a little bit.”
On top of that, Davis had never met Leto before he turned into The Joker, meaning that she just knew Leto as a guy who acts like a jerk on set. When she actually met him at a wrap party, she had some mixed feelings.
“Before that I was only introduced to The Joker…and I almost had my pepper spray out. You know, ‘You remember that bullet you sent me?’” Davis said.
Apparently, Viola Davis didn’t pepper spray Jared Leto, which in a way is a major let down. That would have been pretty exciting to see. In fact, I bet that would be a major compliment to Leto’s method acting.
