LA Minute and Divorce Party have not paid the background extras, cast and crew who worked on the two Savannah, Georgia filmed movies.
Last October, Atlanta background actors, who worked on the feature film Finding Steve McQueen, were not paid for over a month.
Now, background actors and crew members have reportedly not been paid for two movies filmed in Savannah, Georgia.
Chad Darnell Casting of CDC Extras Savannah posted on Facebook explaining that he is no longer accepting text messages from background actors regarding payment for the work they completed in Savannah, Georgia.
In fact, Danell explained that the cast, crew and background have not gotten paid yet because they production companies have not received all of their funding.
According to Darnell’s Facebook posts, both LA Minute and Divorce Party have not paid the cast, crew and background extras for the work they did several months ago. However, Darnell asserts that “hopefully in the new year, we will have new protections in Savannah that will stop these things from happening.”
Until, then Darnell said that he has called the producers and he’s been told the money has been “dropped”.
