Sean Penn’s new movie The Last Face was bashed at the movie’s premiere during the Cannes film festival. The movie was so bad that audience members laughed, booed and left early.
The Last Face, which Sean Penn directed, premiered at Cannes on Friday. The movie featured Charlize Theron and Javier Bardem as two lovers who enjoyed working in Africa. Despite an all star cast, the movie received horrible ratings and called the worst movie of Penn’s career. In fact, audiences booed at the end of the movie. In addition, audience members called the movie racist.
The Last Face is definitely the worst film I’ve seen in Cannes. Pompous, pointless… and I think a little bit racist…

Elapsed time in THE LAST FACE before the audience started laughing at it: Maybe 30 seconds. That’s not an exaggeration.

I joined in the booing for my first time today for The Last Face. It was so bad that I laughed at loud at times.

During production of the movie Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were dating and after the movie many people joked that she broke up with him because she saw how bad the movie was.
The Last Face is Beasts of No Nation rewritten for white people by Nicholas Sparks. No wonder Penn and Theron broke up #Cannes2016
