Netflix’s ‘Spenser Confidential’ is the most-watched production amid rising steaming numbers during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Social-distancing and self-isolating are creating a streaming boom. According to a new report by Nielsen, streaming is seeing a significant rise due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The rating business reported minutes spent streaming content in the United States rose 50% for the week of March 16 in comparison to last year.
The overall amount of streaming on TV in homes has increased at a steady rate over the past month. In fact, 23% of all viewing is done on TV in comparison to 14%, just a week ago.

- Netflix – 29%
- Youtube – 20%
- Hulu – 10%
- Amazon 9%
Other streaming services saw their numbers rise for the occasion. Neilsen says Disney+ saw a 31% rise in streaming, which was largely benefited from kids and teens staying home. CBS All Access also rose from 23% in the same week, while Netflix and Hulu lost their dominance in the streaming business due to the new competition, with 36% and 15%, respectively.

According to Nielsen, ‘Spenser Confidential’ on Netflix was the most viewed content streaming for the week, followed by ‘The Office.’
‘Spenser Confidential’ is an action-comedy starring Mark Wahlberg. his film centers the plot of an ex-felon and former Boston cop, whose job is to take down a drug gang after two Boston officers were murdered. The film features Mark Wahlberg, Winston Duke, Alan Arkin, Iliza Shlesinger, Bokeem Woodbine, Donald Cerrone, Marc Maron, and Austin Post. It is the fifth production with Wahlberg and Berg after ‘Lone Survivor’, ‘Deepwater Horizon’, ‘Patriots Day,” and ‘Mile 22’.
