Netflix cancels two brand-new series after only one season.
If you thoroughly enjoyed the recently-released Netflix original series ‘V-Wars’ or ‘October Faction,’ then I have bad news for you. Both of those series have been canceled, according to Variety. Neither of those shows was on the streaming service for more than four months.
‘V-Wars’ first debuted in early December and is based on the IDW comic series of the same name. The Netflix original series follows Dr. Luther Swann and his friend Michael Fayne, as they handle the deadly outbreak, which turns people into vampires. As the outbreak spreads, a war starts between humans and vampires. The series starred ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star Ian Somerhalder and Adrian Holmes, and the first season consisted of 10 episodes.
‘October Faction’ was canceled after debuting in January. The series centers around a couple, Fred and Deloris Allen, who spend their time hunting monsters, and they become members of a secret organization. Starring Tamara Taylor and J.C. MacKenzie, the first season consisted of 10 episodes
In relevant news, fans think a Netflix show predicted the Coronavirus outbreak. Netflix’s ‘My Secret Terrius’ is a 2018 TV series that is going viral after it mentioned Coronavirus in one of the show’s episodes.
In the scene, one character warns another not to leave her home. Then, we see a doctor and another character talking about coronaviruses, mentioning that MERS had a fatality rate of 20%. The doctor then says, “As I said, this is a mutant virus. Someone tweaked it to increase the mortality rate to almost 90 percent… What’s more serious is that the Coronavirus has an incubation … of two to 14 days. This virus was manufactured to attack the lungs directly within just five minutes of being exposed… There’s no cure or vaccine available at the moment. They’re hard to develop.”
