According to reports, the upcoming Han Solo movie is now filming in Spain’s Canary Islands.
Scenes for the new Star Wars spin-off will begin filming on the island of Fuerteventura next week.The three-week shoot will start in Cañada de la Barca on the southern end of the island. A base camp has already been set up in preparation for the filming.
The currently untitled Han Solo movie is also filming on the peninsula of Jandia. It is a popular tourist destination that has been completely closed off until filming is completed. There is also a ban on using cell phones, drones, or cameras in the area.

According to reports, when filming finishes in Spain the cast and crew are expected to move to Italy.
The movie’s cast includes Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Joonas Suotamo, Emilia Clarke, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Thandie Newton.
