Shia LaBeouf Launches Anti-Trump Live Stream

Date:

Shia LaBeouf is one the most interesting young actors of our generation. He has done a wide array of livestream art performances in the past but, his latest art display is probably his most ambitious. Launching off at the Museum of the Moving Image in NYC is HE WILL NOT DIVIDE USa four year moving art project that launched the day Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States of America.

“Open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the participatory performance will be live-streamed continuously for four years, or the duration of the presidency. In this way, the mantra “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community,” the website explains.

The livestream has already brought a ton of people together including Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith.

With so many people upset or elated about the new president, it is clear to see that Shia LaBeouf is stepping outside of his many Hollywood circles to prove a point. Or, at the very least, LaBeouf is finding a new medium to share his creativity with the world.
