Warner Bros. is working on a sequel to a 2014’s hit movie “Edge of Tomorrow”, plans to bring back Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt.
Warner Bros. confirms they plan to bring back director Doug Liman as well as Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, who both played the members of the government’s military group.
According to reports, the stars won’t seal the deal until they see a script they like. That said, Matthew Robinson from “The Invention of Lying” has been brought on to write the sequel. This is not the first time we have heard about another sequel. In 2016, rumors circulated with a potential sequel with Tom Cruise.
“Edge of Tomorrow” centers around a soldier (Tom Cruise) in the military fighting aliens who gets to relive the same day over and over again restarting the day every time he dies.
