The first movie will be a movie version of Robert Ludlum’s The Janson Directive, featuring Dwayne Johnson, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Janson Director is a spy thriller about a former Navy SEAL and highly sought after corporate security consultant called Paul Janson, who is framed for the murder of a billionaire Nobel Peace Laureate and must uncover the truth or be killed by his former colleagues.
Vanderbilt will also write two more movie scripts based on Ludlum books that will eventually cross over with Dwayne Johnson’s character in future movies. It’s not described whether the existing Bourne movies will be referenced within or factored into the new Robert Ludlum cinematic universe.
