Rumors of a Bad Boys 3 movie have been circling for years.
In fact, last year it was reported that Bad Boys 3 was going to start filming in Atlanta, Georgia late last year. Now, according to reports, Sony Pictures is negotiating with the filmmaking team of Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah to direct. Production could begin as soon as August, with Jerry Bruckheimer returning as producer.
Bad Boys 3, often referred to as ‘Bad Boys For Life’, over the past few years, we still don’t know if the movie will actually hit theaters. That said, Gabrielle Union is working on a TV pilot based on the Bad Boys franchise. It’s rumored to premiere before the third film in the Bad Boys franchise is released.
The first the ‘Bad Boys’, debuted in 1995 and was followed by the sequel, Bad Boys II, in 2003. The cop action comedy film was directed by Michael Bay, produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer and starred Lawrence and Smith as two narcotic Miami detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey.
