According to reports, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is the most popular trailer aired during the Super Bowl. The Pinewood Atlanta Studios filmed project received the highest number of votes following a Fandango poll. The ticketing company surveyed over a 1,000 moviegoers after the Super Bowl between the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots.
Fandango also found Hugh Jackman’s Logan also came in second place, while Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales took third place.
“‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2′ scored major points with fans during this year’s Super Bowl by delivering a fun, action-packed teaser with plenty of rock ‘n roll vibes and just enough Baby Groot to leave us all thirsting for more,” said Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. “Proving it’s very much a movie for everyone, its Big Game spot clearly showed why it’s one of this year’s most anticipated films.”
The final seven spots on the 10 top trailers during the Super Bowl went to The Fate of the Furious, Transformers, Ghost in the Shell, John Wick, Baywatch, A Cure for Wellness and Life.
