Reports Are Claiming That Matt Reeves Is Currently Looking into Developing Spin-Off Films For Villains In The “Batman” Universe.

According to recent reports, director Matt Reeves is “exploring a ‘Batman Universe,'” as Warner Bros. and DC Films continue to develop the future of the DC Extended Universe. This new position for Warner Bros. Discovery within the DC Universe is said to have key players like James Gunn leading different live-action franchises, with Reeves potentially expanding upon the world of The Batman.

In addition to his current projects, Reeves works on spin-off films with other writers and directors. While he has already briefly explored the characters of Riddler, Penguin, and Joker, he is now focusing on Mr. Freeze, Scarecrow, Clayface, and Professor Pyg.
