FDA Slams Kim Kardashian’s Instagram Drug Endorsement

Date:

FDA responds to Kim Kardashian’s drug endorsement for Diclegis

Kim Kardashian will probably think twice before she considers asking her 42 million Instagram followers to like her prescription drug endorsements. The Federal Drug Administration sent a letter to the makers of Diclegis (a morning sickness drug she promoted last month) asking them to “stop ‘misbranding’ the drug or take it off the market.”

From TMZ:

The problem … Kim sings the virtues but not the risks of the drug … something the FDA requires. The letter demands the company correct the problem by getting Kim to repost her endorsements with the proper warnings.
