In secret audio recording, Jared Fogle bragged about having sex with children.
Humiliated, disgraced, and former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle was caught on secretly recorded audio tapes bragging about his attraction to kids. Fogle also said hew anted to travel “across the world” to sleep with more and more children.
“I would fly us clear across the world if we need to. To Thailand or wherever we want to go. If we’re gonna try to get some young kids with us it would be a lot easier,” the former Subway spokesperson told Rochelle Herman-Walrond, a former Florida writer who had became friends with Jared Fogle so she could expose his history of sexual abuse of children and pedophilia.
Herman-Walrond first met Fogle nine years ago when he was a guest on her radio show and he shocked her by saying middle-school girls were “hot.” She later taped conversations that she would turn over to the FBI, leading to criminal charges against Fogle and his bestfriend.
Fogle later had to pay out $1 million to 10 of his 14 victims after pleading guilty to child-pornography and sex-crime charges. He faces between 5 to 12 years in prison. Subsequently, his wife Katie, filed for divorce after the scandal went viral.
The recordings and an interview with Herman-Walrond are scheduled to be aired Thursday and Friday on the Dr. Phil show.
At one point, she asked him about being with kids. This is what Fogle had to say: “I had a little boy. It was amazing,” the 38-year-old Fogle said. “It just felt so good. I mean, it felt — it felt so good.”
She also asked Fogle if he preferred little boys or little girls. “Both of them,” he answered, according to audio posted on the Dr. Phil Web site.
Jared Fogle also asked her disturbing questions about even her own kids. “Are there any of your kids’ friends that you think are pretty hot? What if we put a camera in your kids’ room, would they be OK with that?” he said.
A horrified Herman-Walrond told Dr. Phil she started to feel like a victim after investigating Jared Fogle for so long.
“I had to be two separate people in order to continue on with this investigation,” she said.
