Jackie Chan is not interested in making another Rush Hour movie.
According to a recent report from Slash Film, the actor was recently approached about making Rush Hour 4. New Line Cinema has been interested in making another Rush Hour movie for the last seven years. In 2007, New Line Cinema Co-Chairman and Co-CEO told reporters that he would love to do another ‘Rush Hour‘ movie.

But, maybe there is hope for the critically acclaimed buddy cop movie. While in London, England Jackie Chan was asked by British TV host, Jonathan Ross, if Rush Hour 4 will ever happen. Chan admitted that they want thim to do a Rush Hour 4 movie but they currently don’t have a script.
“Lately they want to make Rush Hour 4. I said ‘No, show me the script first. I don’t need another Rush Hour 4. You need Rush Hour 4. Show me the script.’ I don’t want to do a rubbish script just because they want to make the movie.” [IGN]
This is good news. It looks as though Jackie Chan will not sell out his career for the sake of just making another movie. Chris Tucker may have a different opinion. Chris Tucker filed bankruptcy earlier this year, after his career failed to take off after the success of the ‘Rush Hour‘ movies.
