‘Empire’ casts Mo McCrae to play Gabourey Sidibe’s love interest.
The actor known for his role on Murder in the First will appear in several episodes on the second season of Empire.
According to reports, the actor will appear in three episodes and play character named J-Poppa, who will be a love interest for Gabourey Sidibe’s character, Becky.
McCrae appeared in TNT’s Murder in the First and also appeared alongside Reese Witherspoon in Wild.
Empire stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. The first season of Empire was a ratings phenomenon breaking records for Fox with 16.7 million viewers.
