‘Dora The Explorer’ Movie To Film in Australia Starting This August

The upcoming Dora The Explorer Michael Bay production is expected to film in Queensland, Australia following the country’s filming incentives.

Omega Underground will begin filming Dora The Explorer starting August 6th through November 2018.

The Aussie shoot is expected to take place at Village Roadshow Studios in Gold Coast, where Warner Bros. recently shot James Wan’s Aquaman. Isabela Moner is set to play Dora, a teenaged adventurer adjusting to regular high school life. Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez has also been rumored for a leading role in the movie.

James Bobin will direct from a script written by Nick Stoller. Paramount has set Dora’s release for August 2nd, 2019.
