Disney is going to donate a million dollars to the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting.
Disney is known for their movies, TV shows, and parks but, the Mickey Mouse corporation is doing more than just providing entertaining content. Disney is going to donate $1,000,000 dollars to the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida.

On Tuesday, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announced over social media that Disney donated the money to OneOrlando, the organization created to raise money to help those most affected by the mass shooting, which occurred Sunday morning at a gay nightclub.
“We are heartbroken by this tragedy and hope our commitment will help those in the community affected by this senseless act,” Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, said in a statement. “With 74,000 cast members who call Orlando home, we mourn the loss of the victims and offer our condolences to their families, friends and loved ones.”
49 people were killed and more than 50 others injured on Sunday when a 29-year-old gunman, Omar Mateen, opened fire inside the Orlando, Florida nightclub.
This news comes after Omar Mateen’s ex-wife said Mateen had “gay tendencies” and Mateen’s wife said she tried to stop him from committing the terrorist attack.
