Walt Disney World is Making a ‘Frozen’ Ride
Walt Disney World is creating a Frozen ride. Disney’s hit animated movie, Frozen is now getting the theme park treatment. Variety reports that Disney is planning on creating a new ride in the Epcot center in Orlando, Florida.
They plan on turning the Maelstrom, a “mysterious boat ride through Scandinavian seascapes and swamps inhabited by creatures,” into a new ride that will take guests to Arendelle and immerse them in many of their favorite moments and music from the film,” said exec Tom Staggs at the Disney Parks blog.
The area will also include a special area for kids to meet the characters from the hit movie.
“The pavilion will also include a royal greeting location where [lead characters] Anna and Elsa can meet our guests,” he added. “We think these ‘Frozen’ elements are great compliments to the Norway Pavilion, which showcases the country and region that inspired the film.”
