Critics argue ‘Gotham’ the year’s “most promising” new show.
Every year, the TCA (Television Critics Association) get together and pick out one of the best new shows coming to television. According to the reports, a group of critics meet in a board room and decide which new Fall show will reign supreme. But, details of how it works are basically kept a secret. Similar to how Catholic bishops decide who will become the next Pope.
Either way, TCA announced that Fox’s Batman show, ‘Gotham’ is this year’s “Most Promising New Show” and also the “Most Promising New Drama.”
TCA also announced that ABC’s ‘Black-ish” is the “Most Promising New Comedy,” and Jane The Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez is the “Potential New Breakout Star.”
Until, Gotham hits TV screens we just have to sit back and wait and see if it will be as good as critics say it is.
