Channing Tatum will play Gambit in the next X-Men feature film.
Channing Tatum said he always wanted to play a superhero and that Gambit would be perfect for him since they are both Southerners.
At the recent MTV Movie Awards, he confirmed he had a meeting with X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner over the possibility of becoming a superhero. Now it looks like production is heating up.
There is no reports yet whether or not Tatum will have his own movie or will he join the cast and crew of the movie in the future.
