Shia LaBeouf is Staying 24 Hours in an Elevator for “Art”

Date:

Shia LaBeouf is live streaming himself in an elevator for 24 hours as a performance art project.

Following his #ALLMYMOVIES performance art piece in New York City in November, for he which he sat in a movie theater and watched all his movies in reverse chronological order as the world watched him, the actor is currently in an elevator in Engalnd. And LaBeouf is going to sit there for the next 24 hours.

The performance art project is called #ELEVATE, and the project also includes audio so you can hear what’s going on in the elevator.

Project Casting was just listening in, Shia LaBeouf was talking about acting roles he has coming up. LaBeouf admitted he doesn’t know what he’s going to do next because he’s “pretty dangerous” since he “really gives a s***t, and being an artist isn’t always a requirement on set.”

LaBeouf also talked about how Bill Murray cards to fans that say “I just met Bill Murray” instead of signing autographs. Th LaBeouf part of that is “awesome,” but he also feels like it’s pretty “lame” to do that.
