Proof Will Smith Has Been Secretly Planning to Run for President for 15 Years

First it was Donald Trump, then it was Kanye West, and now it appears as though Will Smith may be the next entertainer to run for President.

And while this news may be shocking to you, Will Smith may have been secretly planning on running for President of the United States for the past fifteen years.

In an interview with CBS, Smith, who stars in the upcoming new film Concussion says he has more to offer than being an actor or rapper. He says, due to the recent presidential race he is considering running for president.

“If people keep saying all the crazy kinds of stuff they’ve been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims, they’re going to force me into the political arena,” he said. “I mean, I gotta be the President. Come on!” Smith says, adding, “What else would I run for?”

WHOA. That’s pretty big news. One of Hollywood’s biggest actors, known for some of the biggest box office releases in recent history, is looking to join the ring with career politicians like Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

But, did you know that Will Smith hinted he wanted to run for president fifteen years ago? In his last album, WILLENIUM in the rap song “I’m Coming” Will Smith says:

I never miss, my flow never flawed
Grab mics and send electric shocks through the cord
Quest for the rings my only weapon’s intuition
My future position is determined by past decisions
So young George Bush, I’m thinking bout runnin’
Maybe not this time, but trust dude, ugh

Does that mean Will Smith is going to run for the Republican party? Well, it is hard to tell from just two bars. But, it is interesting to see that Will Smith has been planning or at least thinking about running for President of the United States since he released Wild Wild West.
