Marvel Studios next Black Panther movie has a potential release date and rumors suggest it will be on Black History Month.
Following the box office hit movie Black Panther, Marvel Studios and their CEO Kevin Feige have been teasing the sequel to the upcoming feature film.
Now we have solid evidence as to when we will see the next Black Panther movie. According to reports, Disney recently shifted their 2020-2022 releases, with Indiana Jones 5 being pushed back a full year and an untitled Marvel Cinematic Universe movie moved up from July 30, 2021, to February 12, 2021. The new date places the upcoming untitled movie in the middle of Black History Month, causing many to believe the next movie will be a sequel to Black Panther. Backing up the rumors is the fact that the date would place the sequel exactly three years after the first film, which as been the strategy for Marvel Studios’ sequels. Additionally, the date would place the movie in the month that has been set for the Black Panther franchise. For example, Thor movies come out in November and Spider-Man movies have been set for July.
That said, at this time this is all speculation and nothing has been officially confirmed.
