Beyonce and Jay-Z Divorce Rumor Boosted ‘On the Run’ Tour Ticket Sales
Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles revealed that the divorce rumors between Beyonce and Jay-Z increased ticket sales for the ‘On the Run‘ Tour.
The billion dollar couple, were hit with several divorce rumors during the ‘On The Run‘ tour. Neither of the stars spoke publicly to defend their six-year marriage, nor did they deny any of the accusations.
Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles insisted that “everything’s perfect”, now the former manager of Beyonce has accused promoters of encouraging the rumors to increase interest in the concerts. Mathew Knowles was recently interviewed by Texas radio station 104.1 KRBE and said that “there’s a tour going on, so you sometimes have to ignite that tour. It’s called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot at time.”
Mathew Knowles also pointed out the now infamous elevator fight between Jay-Z and his sister-in-law Solange Knowles saying, “All I know is the Jedi mind trick. Everyone’s talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange’s album sales went up 200 per cent!”
It looks like everything you see and hear about celebrities is all just smoke and mirrors.
