In its latest spy thriller, Argylle, Apple TV+ has offered a preview of Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa.
The film is based on Ellie Conway’s upcoming book of the same name and directed by Matthew Vaughn, with a script by Jason Fuchs. The plot follows an excellent espionage expert who has just suffered from memory loss. Believing he is a renowned novelist who specializes in espionage novels, the double agent is set up. After his memories return, audiences will follow the globe-trotting exploits of the super spy as he goes down a path of vengeance against the organization he used to work for.
Acting alongside Cavill and Dua Lipa is a star-studded cast that includes Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson, and more. Dua Lipa is also set to provide original music for the film.
The first film in Argylle’s three-part movie series will be released on May 12th. Last August, production began throughout Europe, with a release date yet to be determined.
