Amazon is creating fresh adaptations of the iconic films ‘RoboCop,’ ‘Legally Blonde,’ and ‘Barbershop’ that will surely capture your attention!
Last year, Amazon shelled out a staggering $8.5 billion to acquire MGM’s already successful catalog of titles. Now, the tech giant is delving into creating new adaptations of some of those popular movies and shows. This initiative will further extend their reach in distribution and media company production for television programs throughout America. Amazon Studios is reportedly readying to bring MGM Holdings’ library of intellectual properties to life through exciting movie and television projects.
According to reports, the leading contenders for a remake include RoboCop, Stargate, Barbershop, Legally Blonde, Pink Panther, The Thomas Crown Affair and Fame, and The Magnificent Seven. Amazon Studios has already begun connecting with a diverse range of creative minds to partner on future projects potentially.
After reports of a galaxy for Creed and Rocky being established through movies and television programs, as well as ideas in the works for Poltergeist, this new information has arrived. RoboCop, Legally Blonde, and Stargate are anticipated to be developed into TV shows and motion pictures. At the same time, Barbershop and The Magnificent Seven will only have their television series.
