Western North Carolina Film Commission Casting Call
Local production seeking talent in Asheville, NC for a young, fresh, trendy and upbeat family piece that will show off a piece of technology and how amazingly functional it is. Shoot currently planned for end of May/early June.
-3 principal actors needed (a Mom and a Dad in their late 20’s/early 30’s and a Daughter between the age of 6-8); Must be fully available from May 28th through June 2nd with a test day (1/2 day on either May 22nd or May 23rd)
-5 extras needed (a Grandfather, Grandmother, a Garden Center Employee, Dinner Guest 1 and Dinner Guest 2); extras needed for 1-2 days during shoot dates above (final dates to be determined soon)
-No prior experience required. No residuals, no SAG.
-Compensation for principals is $600/day flat rate; for extras, $300/day; test day shooting will be half of regular day rate
-No travel reimbursements, overnight accommodations or food
-Production accepting submissions until Friday May 10th, possibly extending until Monday May 13th
