The first week of filming of the ninth season of the Trailer Park Boys started today and casting directors posted a casting call for extras to fill the set in the show.
All extras must be residents of Nova Scotia and legally able to work in Canada. Talents must also have their own transportation and able to work a full day.
According to Truro Daily News, here is what they are looking for:
Roles needed for Day 1 of filming include yoga seniors, bowling seniors and massage parlor customers. Seniors denote people 65 years or older, or who appear to be of that age. Applicants must be able bodied and without any serious health problems.
Seniors interested in applying for yoga scenes must be in good shape and do some mild stretching.Bowling seniors don’t have to be good at the sport, however, experience with bowling is a plus. The massage parlour customers are also seniors.
Yoga seniors are also needed for Day 3 of filming, set for Friday, but don’t necessarily have to be the same from Day 1.Also needed on Day 3 are angry seniors: “You’re mad and you hate crappy sandwiches,” reads the casting call.
Day 2 casting call is looking for a newborn baby. The newborn has to be at least 15 days old, by law, and no more than six weeks. The newborn baby will be part of an indoor birth scene, with a private quite area when the baby is not needed on set.
