- CARLOS GUERRERO – 15 to 20 years old, Mexican American male. Chubby. Definitely not a rock star. Despite this, Carlos is single-minded in his dream of becoming the greatest drummer alive. Passionate and determined, he is willing to do whatever it takes to secure his first steps to fame by locking in a gig for TeknoKrap, the punk band he shares with his best friend Leo. LEAD
- LEO MCSWAIN – 15 to 20 years old, Mexican American or Mixed Ethnicity male. Skinny, purple hair. As the lead singer of TeknoKrap, Leo dreams of making it big with his best friend Carlos. While Leo is nervous about launching TeknoKrap, his punk spirit keeps him pushing the envelope LEAD

SAG Feature Film Casting Call
Vicky Boone Casting is casting Mexican American and Mixed Ethnicity men ages 15-20 to play leading roles in an upcoming major SAG feature film. The film will begin shooting in the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio area next April. We’re searching for young men who are outgoing, with a sense of humor, and passionate about music, especially punk rock! Musical experience is a plus!

Audition Tips
- Make an excellent first impression
When you walk into the audition room, you want to make sure that you make an excellent first impression. This means being confident, well-groomed, and looking ready to work.
- Be prepared
One of the best things you can do to prepare for an audition is to research the role or project you’re going for. This way, you’ll know what they’re looking for, and you can tailor your performance to fit their needs.
- Be confident
Confidence is critical when it comes to auditions. If you don’t believe in yourself, then it’s likely that the casting directors won’t either. So stand tall, speak clearly, and show them what you’re made of.
- Don’t be afraid to take risks
While being prepared is essential, you also don’t want to be too safe with your audition. Sometimes, the best performances come from taking risks and going outside your comfort zone. So feel free to try something new.
- Be positive
No matter what happens during your audition, always remain positive. This doesn’t mean you have to fake it if you feel nervous or scared. Just remember that the casting directors are looking for someone upbeat and enthusiastic about the role.
