Spider-Man 2 to filming in New York City.
According to Omega Underground, filming for the upcoming Spider-Man sequel is going to film in Georgia, Berlin, United Kingdom and now New York City. Filming is expected to begin in late May/early June.
This news comes after Disney announced a potential boycott to Georgia’s film industry if the religious freedom bill is passed. The law, which was passed by Georgia lawmakers on March 16th, would offer protection to businesses that refuse to provide services that violate their beliefs. If it becomes law, the proposed legislation would eliminate safeguards for opponents of same-sex marriage.
Spider-Man 2 has been slated for release on July 5th, 2019.
