Job Description:
Destination Casting is seeking an experienced African American male actor to portray the role of Elder Torchbearer in an upcoming SAG Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). This role requires a strong actor with a regal, wise demeanor to deliver a compelling on-screen presence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the Elder Torchbearer, an astute and wise figure, embodying leadership and dignity.
- Collaborate with the director and production team to deliver a powerful performance.
- Participate in callbacks, rehearsals, and the final shoot with professionalism.
Requirements:
- African American male, aged 65+ or appearing 65+.
- Must possess a regal and wise demeanor.
- Salt-and-pepper beard preferred but not required.
- Strong acting skills with prior on-screen experience.
- SAG-AFTRA membership is required.
- Must work as a local hire in Atlanta, GA (no travel or accommodation provided).
Compensation:
- Paid SAG scale.
