Netflix’s Mindhunter is now hiring stand-ins in Pittsburgh.
Netflix is now hiring stand-ins for the new series Mindhunter. Casting directors are looking for talent that can work on the new TV show starting early May in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania until December. Talents must match the leading actor’s physical descriptions.
About Mindhunter:
Netflix’s new series Mindhunter is executive produced by by David Fincher (House of Cards, Gone Girl, Fight Club) and Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road, Monster). According to Deadline, Mindhunter is based on the 1996 book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, by former special agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker. The series centers on two FBI Agents who pioneered behavioral profiling.

MALE STANDINS NEEDED FOR NETFLIX SERIES, “MINDHUNTER”!
Stand-ins are used in place of the actor for lighting, blocking and rehearsals. They are an EXTREMELY important part of any production. They should be reliable, responsible, respectful, able to follow direction well and able to handle 12-14 hour days.
Production will be starting in early May in the Pittsburgh area and going until December. We need Stand-ins with amazing availability during that time frame. No weekends. Stand-ins will be paid $150 for the first 12 hours and time and a half after that. MUST HAVE A VEHICLE TO GET TO SET. Public transportation is not reliable as shoot locations are always changing.
**All Stand-ins must be willing to have their hair cut or dyed to match the actor.
– CAUCASIAN MALE – AGES 60-74 YEARS OLD. SALT/PEPPER HAIR OR WILLING TO HAVE DYED. 5’11-6’1 AND WEIGHING BETWEEN 175-200LBS. PLEASE WRITE “MAROON” IN THE SUBJECT LINE WHEN SUBMITTING.**Will work alot as a utility standin for this character and begins next week
-CAUCASIAN MALE – AGES 45-56 YEAR OLD. SALT/PEPPER BUZZ CUT. 6’4-6’6. Works approximately 5 days between May 9th-June 25th. PLEASE WRITE “YELLOW” IN THE SUBJECT LINE WHEN SUBMITTING.
-CAUCASIAN MALE – AGES 22-30 YEARS OLD. Brunette. 5’10-6’0. UTILITY STANDIN WHO COULD WORK MANY DAYS. PLEASE WRITE “UTILITY” IN THE SUBJECT LINE WHEN SUBMITTING.
