Peacock’s ‘Bupkis’ is now casting and hiring actors to work on scenes in the new TV series.
Producers are now casting the following roles:
- Young Pete: Can play the role of male, seven years old, white.
- Young Pete is seen in late September 2001, just two weeks after his father’s death. He and his mother are having a tough day; they attend the wedding of Amy’s sister Maggie to the man Young Pete comes to know as Uncle Steve.
- Young Pete is still a mess after his father’s death in the attach on the World Trade Center, and he’s in no mood to be joyous; instead, he is in a mood to be inappropriate: gloomy, loud, and self-centered. But everyone at the wedding make allowances for his grief, and just above everyone takes him aside and give him some form of advise… GUEST STAR

‘Bupkis,’ The New Comedy From Pete Davidson, Has Been Picked Up For A Straight-To-Series Order By Peacock.
NBC announced today that Pete Davidson, a longtime cast member of Saturday Night Live, will be getting his TV show. Peacock has made a deal for Bupkis, a half-hour live-action comedy that Davidson wrote himself and will star in. The show is executive produced by SNL head Lorne Michaels. After they had taken out the project to market in March, NBCU’s streaming service acquired it in a competitive situation with a straight-to-series order.

Davidson is teaming up with Dave Sirus and Judah Miller to produce a comical, relatable series called Bupkis. The writing trio plans to sprinkle in absurdist elements that Davidson has become known for throughout his career.
Davidson’s show, which has been likened to Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm, is anticipated to showcase Davidson’s true persona with its R-rated storytelling. Discussions have already begun with A-list celebrities for the ensemble cast around Davidson.
Bupkis is executive produced by Davidson, Sirus, and Miller, as well as Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Erin David of Broadway Video. The series is being produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
“Pete Davidson is one of the most sought-after comedians today with his smart, one-of-a-kind humor and honest point of view,” said Susan Rovner, Chairman of Entertainment Content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “Bupkis will showcase Pete’s funny, surprising and unfiltered brand of comedy audiences have come to love as we continue to bolster our Peacock comedy slate. We can’t wait to dive in with Lorne Michaels, Broadway Video, and our partners at Universal Television.”
Davidson, who started as a very young cast member of SNL, making only occasional appearances on “Weekend Update” has become one of the most recognizable faces in sketch comedy. He often makes headlines for his work relationships, most recently with Kim Kardashian. Davidson is finishing his eighth season on SNL, and for the past few years, he has managed to balance NBC’s series while developing a successful feature film career.
Davidson is on leave from SNL to film the Miramax horror thriller, The Home. His next project will be the big screen premiere of Bodies Bodies Bodies at SXSW; followed by starring in Good Mourning with a U with Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox; as well as Meet Cute opposite Kaley Cuoco.
Davidson and Sirus, who have collaborated on SNL for years, co-wrote the 2020 film The King of Staten Island. Miller served as an executive producer alongside Davidson on the project, which starred Davidson and was based on his life. Brillstein Entertainment Partners represents Davidson.
