About American Gods:
According to Hofmag.com, American Gods is filming in Oklahoma this summer. American Gods is based on the famous novel by Neil Gaiman and is being produced by STARZ and FremantleMedia North America. Along with Oklahoma, the show is supposed to be also filmed in Toronto, Canada.
According to a post published in Entertainment Weekly, Neil Gaiman had shared a picture from the American Gods’ set in late April this year. The author seemed to be thrilled to eventually see that start of the production of his acclaimed book.
The series will see a conflict between the new group of gods who symbolize wealth, technology, drug abuse and celebrity with the old set of gods originating from the mythologies and scriptures. Crispin Grover and Ricky Whittle will be seen in two of the key roles.
