Casting Call: Child Actors for Principal Actor’s Grandchildren Roles
Job Description: We are looking for talented young actors aged 4 to 10 to play the role of grandchildren for a principal actor in an upcoming production. The filming will take place on Friday, 5.3, in Astoria Queens, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for young actors to gain on-set experience and to work with a professional film crew.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray the character of a grandchild in a natural and convincing manner.
- Follow the director’s instructions and respond well to feedback.
- Interact with other actors on set to create a believable family dynamic.
- Be prepared to work the full day of filming as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Ages 4 to 10.
- Must have a valid child performer permit as required by law.
- Must have a trust account set up for payment.
- Availability for the full day of filming on the specified date.
- Commitment to participate in rehearsals and wardrobe fittings as required by the production team.
- Parent or guardian must accompany the child to the set and remain present at all times.
Compensation Details:
- Pay rate for UNION members is $208 for an 8-hour workday.
- Payment details for non-union actors will be provided upon application.
