Jessica Chastain’s new movie, Woman Walks Ahead, is now casting background actors to work on the new feature film. Casting directors are looking for people to play horse back riders, town folks, Native American drummers, dancers, and village background extras. Filming will take place from September 7th through October 21st in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

About Woman Walks Ahead:
According to Variety, Jessica Chastain will portray Caroline Weldon, who moved from Brooklyn to the Standing Rock Reservation in Dakota Territory to help Sioux chieftain Sitting Bull keep the land for his people. Weldon wrote letters to the federal government on behalf of Sitting Bull and lived on the land for several years with her son.

We are shooting from Sept 7th thru Oct 21st and Looking for Calvary types with Horse Back Riding Experience , Town Folks, Native American Drummers, Dancers, and Village BG. Also Train Conductors and staff, Gov Officials, Big Mustache is a plus.
Based on real events, Woman Walks Ahead tells the story of Catherine Weldon, a widowed artist from New York in the 1880s, who travelled to North Dakota to paint a portrait of the Native American leader Chief Sitting Bull.
