Villa Capri starring Morgan Freeman is now casting new talent in New Mexico.
Morgan Freeman’s new movie Villa Capri is now casting actors, models, and talent to work on his new movie. Casting directors are looking for men and women in their 30’s to 50’s to work on the scenes. Filming will take place in both Santa Fe, New Mexico and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
About Villa Capri:
Written and directed by Ron Shelton (“Bull Durham,” “White Men Can’t Jump”) the film stars Tommy Lee Jones as a former FBI agent who teams up with Morgan Freeman who plays an attorney, in the witness protection program to fend off a mob hit in their upscale retirement community. Early reports say the action comedy is in the vein of the 1988 hit comedy “Midnight Run.” According to The Hollywood Reporter Sierra/Affinity will debut the film at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, multi-national distribution rights already secured by eOne with domestic rights going to CAA. “Villa Capri” is currently in pre-production here in New Mexico with a start date scheduled for the middle of this month. The film is expected to wrap by September 26.
