Casting directors are now casting background actors for NBC hit television series “Smash” in New York City.

Smash is NBC’s new hit drama has been renewed for a second season. The show centers on the creation of a new Broadway musical, and is based on the life of Marilyn Monroe.

As the production of the show takes form, everyone that is involved in the production must balance their personal life with the consuming demands of a Broadway music.

Starring, Anjelica Huston, Debra Messing, Christian Borle, Megan Hilty, and Katharine McPhee (Project Casting).

Seeking NONUNION To Portray VERY FORMAL/BLACK TIE Theatre Goers. Works Thursday 3/7 & Friday 3/8, Fitting 3/5 or 3/6. You MUST be available BOTH work dates and must attend a fitting. This wardrobe requires dressy upscale evening gowns for women and tuxedos or dark/black fitted upscale suits for men (men with tuxedos do not need to attend fitting). Email a current photo and phone number to [email protected] and make the SUBJECT LINE read- FACEBOOK, your full name, NONUNION, Availability, Fitting Date. (for example- FACEBOOK, John Doe, NONUNION, Avail 3/7&3/8, Fitting 3/5)
