Casting Call: Stand-In for TV Series (Full Season Commitment)
Job Description: We are seeking a Caucasian male stand-in for an upcoming TV series, to assist with lighting and color blocking on set. This role requires matching the physical characteristics of a specific actor, including height and hair color. The successful candidate will work closely with the production team, helping to ensure continuity and efficiency during filming.
Job Responsibilities:
- Stand in for the actor during technical preparations, such as lighting and camera setups.
- Maintain consistent posture, position, and movements as directed, mirroring the actor’s actions.
- Be present on set for the entire scheduled shoot, including potential night shoots and occasional Saturdays.
- Follow all instructions from the director and cinematography team promptly and accurately.
Requirements:
- Gender: Male
- Ethnicity: Caucasian
- Hair Color: Grey or Salt and Pepper
- Height: 5’9″ to 5’11”
- Weight: 150 to 175 lbs
- Must be local to Chicago, its suburbs, or surrounding border states to Illinois.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a professional work ethic.
- Previous experience as a stand-in is advantageous but not necessary.
Compensation:
- Rate: $180 for the first 8 hours, with time and a half for hours worked beyond 8 hours per day.
