The biopic “N.W.A.” Straight Outta Compton” is holding an open casting call in Chicago this weekend.
After touring Atlanta, Los Angeles, casting directors are headed to Chicago.
According to Sharon King Casting, the casting call will take place Saturday at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios on the West Side from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. African American males in their late teens to late 20s are encouraged to audition for the roles of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy E. No experience is necessary. The audition will take place behind the green lot at Cinespace. Parking is available at 2620 W. 16th Street.
“(E)veryone in the age range has a chance,” director F. Gary Gray tweeeted. “It doesn’t matter where you’re from. The Wire cast great actors from the UK.”
